He caught the next flight home-SMOOTH landing-Nick arrived
Fists collide when jealousy conflicts with pride
then his cellphone started ringing-this was the KATALYST
His manager callled - said the new record's not a platinum disc
Nick got dropped from the label - he used to define dope
It was too bad - his career didn't end on a HIGHNOTE
This is just a MEMOIR of a fallen rapper
No ACE up his sleeve - it was his final chapter
For a very short time - he made an IMPRESSION
now Nick's life ain't the same - he's in a state of depression
Shocked in a TRANCE - the SAGA doesn't continue
Tryin' to RECLAIM his lady - Nick headed to the venue
He spotted Nicole at the bar and she was talkin' to Tone
He wanted to EXCLAIM his return - let his presence be known
It was HIGHLIGHT time - straight scrappin' like it was a cage match
Nick got socked in the grill and his chain snatched
Word on the streets is that they sayin' he fell ill
Now his phone's disconnected for not payin' the cell bill
